Crefeld is accredited by both the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools (PAIS) and by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA), and is licensed by the State Board of Private Academic Schools, the Pennsylvania State Department of Education, and the Immigration and Naturalization Service.
The school's program is based on the ten principles of The Coalition of Essential Schools - a high school reform movement with over 1000 member schools around the country.
