Financial Aid Policy
The Crefeld School is committed to helping families afford a Crefeld education. Therefore, a certain amount of money is set aside each year in order to provide relief for families who are in need. Families may request a financial aid application form at any time during or after the application process. To request a form, contact Stacey Cunitz, Director of Admissions.
Financial Aid is awarded solely on the basis of need. The maximum benefit allowed per family is 50% of the full tuition. We have a limited financial aid budget and do our best to help families in need, but the amount of each award will vary from year to year depending on the number of applicants. Families must reapply for financial aid each year.
Financial aid is awarded on a "first come, first served" basis. The priority deadline for financial aid is February 15. Forms must be in be in by that date to ensure full consideration. Families will then be notified about their financial aid award for the following year. Families whose forms arrive after February 15, and families applying to the school in February or later, will only receive financial aid if there are funds remaining to award.
The process for applying for financial aid is wholly separate from the application process to the school. Financial aid status has no bearing on whether a child is accepted to the school.
