Winter Storm Jonas

Let is snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!

Actually, I am a little sick of snow.

We have come to the end of the first semester and, as always, the Winter Arts Celebration was a huge success. The Arts Celebration is always a time for me to reflect on what a talented and courageous group of students we have. Really, all semester long, I have witnessed our students being thinkers, writers, scientists, and mathematicians when I walk around the school. Then to see the collaboration on stage and to create the gallery space, as well as the talent displayed throughout the gallery, what an outstanding display of student empowerment. Additionally, there were over a dozen Crefeld alumni there to celebrate the evening.

This semester we have some really cool elective choices. From a host of Art classes (Art Survey, Physical Theatre, Glassblowing and Illustration and Storytelling to name a few) to a few new offerings (coding, the science of fiction, and Ancient Warfare). While off to a snowy start, I have no doubt that the second half of the year will be just as awesome as the first.
