A few updates on what's happening around Crefeld.
As always, Halloween was a big deal on campus. Many students and staff came in costume. Boo grams, a prom fundraiser, were delivered during advisory. What a fun day!
The 10th grade Outward Bound program had their overnight camping trip this week. That's right, the 10th graders spend an entire day with OB, camped in the woods at the OB site, then came to school the next day! We are very proud of them.
Hosting Field Trips! For two weeks in a row, the permaculture community service hosted students from The Miquon School. The little ones went through a carousel of activities led by Crefeld kids. An excellent leadership opportunity for our students.
The last piece of news that I will share is that one of our seniors, Sam Kamien, was named a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist! This prestigious honor goes to about 16,000 seniors out of the 1.6 million who entered the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2016 PSAT. Way to go, Sam!
